Cheap Courier Companies and My Experiences
My name is Sarah and over the past few years I've had the experience of using many different couriers for the company I worked for. I was responsible for seeing that the exchanging of documents between law firms went well and if it didn't (which on many times it didn't) then I was too blame. I could have stuck to using one cheap courier but I decided to try out different ones to see which Company would provide the best service what the pro's and con's of each one are. I wanted to see which service was the best, there's no point buying into the first thing you see when you have the option to what the other cheap courier's have to offer right?
These are a few of the companies I used and will talk about, DHL, FedEx and UPS, I always used Diamond and Naparex on some occasion, but the latter two are the cheap courier companies that I had little experience with.
The company that I was advised by my company to use was DHL. As a worldwide respected cheap courier company I expected a high quality service and this is pretty much what I got. There were a few hiccups but overall they were fantastic. I ordered for them to arrive on motorbike because the City in where I live is very busy at all hours of the day, I wanted them to deliver the parcel by the next day. The company came to my place of work at around 4'o clock (2 hours after I ordered it) this seemed to be pretty prompt, although my experience was none at this point. The only problem was that the boy who was the employee for the cheap courier company was dressed pretty casual and was not in uniform, apart from this, it was a great service.
FedEx is a renowned company but I was more pleased by the service I received off the other companies, however they were OK. They then came to my office, he's took the parcel from me said "what time dya want it there then?". The Company delivered it on time, so I was glad.
I used UPS and again like DHL was promptly on time and reassured me that the parcel would get delivered no matter what happened. Although I gave them only a few hours to get through the blazing traffic of my city, they succeeded and I was happily impressed by this. As a reward I offered to give the boy some money if he came back. But due to the cheap courier regulations it was strictly forbidden, Oh well.
